Ardu Mega is a core with ATmega2560 microcontroller development board itself has 54 sets of figures I / O input / output terminal (14 of which group do PWM output), more than 16 sets of analog inputs, 4 UART (hardware serial ports), using 16 MHz crystal oscillator. With bootloader, so the program can be downloaded directly via USB without having to go through other external programmer. Part of the optional power supply provides power directly from the USB, or use the AC-to-DC adapter and battery as an external power supply.

Power Design

Ardu Mega power supply system has two options, USB direct power supply or an external power supply. Power supply will automatically switch selection. Optional external power supply AC-to-DC adapter or the battery, the limit of this voltage range of panel 6V ~ 12V, but if the supplied voltage is less than 6V, I / O port may not be supplied to the voltage of 5V, so there will be no stable; event provides a voltage greater than 12V, regulator device then there could overheat protection, are more likely to damage the Arduino MEGA. Therefore, the recommended operating supply of 6.5 ~ 12V, recommended power supply is 7.5V or 9V.
