Xbee module is a ZigBee wireless module technology, such as through inter-serial device to communicate with the microcontroller, can very quickly achieve the purpose of the device is connected to a ZigBee network.

This is a new Digi produced 2.4Ghz Xbee XBP24-BZ7PIT-004 wireless transmission module. Version 2.5 improves the output power and transmission protocols. Pro series has the same basic models and pin definitions, but stronger output power-50mW. Its maximum transmission distance up to 1600 meters (outdoor open distance) and transfer rates of up to 250kbps. This module provides a very reliable data transmission, any serial output devices can use the module for data transmission, the support point - point and multi-point network transmission.
