Xbee module is a ZigBee wireless module technology, such as through inter- serial device to communicate with the microcontroller , can very quickly achieve the purpose of the device is connected to a ZigBee network.

Module by default networking mode , point to point communication requires the use of X-CTU set .

Description:

This is the new 2.4GHz XBee XBP24-BWIT-004 module from Digi (formally Maxstream). Series 2.5 improves on the power output and data protocol. The Pro series have the same pinout and command set of the basic series with an increase output power of 50mW! These modules take the802.15.4stack (the basis for Zigbee) and wrap it into a simple to use serial command set. These modules allow a very reliable and simple communication between microcontrollers, computers, systems, really anything with a serial port ! Point to point and multi-point networks are supported.
